Hi

[firstnamelogin] 👋

Blooming happiness

Signing up for Goodiebox is one of those seeds that bloom once a month when your box arrives, creating a happy moment just for you. Where you can take a moment to press pause on your everyday life and spend some time on yourself – either with a face mask, creams and exploring new products for your shower, make up or something third.

What you’ll need

Goodieboxes – Cotton – Water – Plastic of some sort – Seeds: You can use: beetroot, peas, amaranth, sunflower, fennel and/or basil

What are Microgreens?

Fear not, if you have no idea what microgreens are and if you have made a big contribution to the house plant cementary. ‘Cause we have no other than Faelleshaverne’s heard gardener to take you through the process.

It’s easy to get started, even if you don’t have a garden and just by using seeds from plants and veggies you already have in your kitchen.

Tip: If you have kids, this could also be a fun project to include them in.

Ready to get started? See Carla’s introduction to microgreens here.

Ready to get started?

In this video Carla is going to show you how and what to plant so we can get started on our green project! Carla used beetroot, peas, amatanth and sunflower seeds, that you can easily shop at your nearest garden center.

Hey, it’s harvest time

How are your greens doing? In this video we are checking in with our greens and hopefully we can harvest some of them.

Chop chop…

This is indeed slow cooking when you have to grow the greens first! In this video Carla will give some tips on what you can use these cute sprouts for, that you’ve nursed for the last few weeks.

Hungry after growing more?

Because we are for sure hooked. So we asked Carla what else you can use from your kitchen to plant and grow.

Meet Carla & Faelleshaverne

Faelleshaverne is a Danish company, and it basically translates to “the community gardens”. They specialize in inspiring people to grow greens in apartments, on balconies and in gardens. Their ambition is to get as many as possible to reconnect with nature and to have a positive impact on the environment.

Carla is their head gardener, and our teacher in microgreens. She became a gardener when she studied at the university but found that working in front of a computer wasn’t for her.

During her work at different restaurants she got a taste for good organic veggies, and decided to become a gardener. Her passion is to make others find the magic in plants and get started growing them themselves.

The Goodieforest

We also have green fingers here at Goodiebox. Not only because we love to see things grow but also because we want to become CO2 neutral.

We have planted a forest. Our own forest to be precise. It’s located in Denmark, where we ourselves have our roots. We already have close to 200.000 trees and will continue to plant thousands of native trees to create a bio-diverse broadleaf woodland and ecosystem.
